The first session sold out so quickly we wanted to offer another date for you to join Melissa of Joyful Mellie Designs to learn how to create beautiful hand lettered artwork!
During this workshop, Melissa will teach two basic hand lettering fonts with several variations. The main focus will be faux calligraphy, a modern take on cursive that will mimic the look of a brush pen but is much simpler to master. The other font will be a modern capital, which pairs nicely with faux calligraphy.
After some practice, you’ll have a chance to create a fun hand lettered piece to take home. Examples will be provided, along with support along the way!
Workshop includes instruction, all materials and light bites to munch on!
We do have a BYOB License so feel free to bring your own alcohol. Please do limit it to forty ounces of beer, 750 ml of wine or four ounces of distilled spirits per person.
Workshop seats are nonrefundable as we purchase materials on a rolling basis. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome sell your seat to a friend (or post in the Facebook event) and send us the new name for the guest list.
