Join local artist Kimberly Kalil for a Alcohol Ink Workshop!
Alcohol ink is an amazing art medium that works much like watercolors.
In this workshop, you will learn what alcohol inks are and how to use them. We’ll be creating an an abstract painting and a painted trinket dish.
Workshop includes instruction, all materials and light bites to munch on!
We do have a BYOB License so feel free to bring your own alcohol. Please do limit it to forty ounces of beer, 750 ml of wine or four ounces of distilled spirits per person.
Workshop seats are nonrefundable as we purchase materials on a rolling basis. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome sell your seat to a friend (or post in the Facebook event) and send us the new name for the guest list.

Kimberly Kalil grew up in the high desert of Southern California, but has made her home in this desert since 2007. She’s been doing all things creative — writing, painting, sewing, etc — since she was a kid. She studied journalism at BYU and has spent the last 20+ years working in the media industry. She’s a mixed-media, visual artist working mostly with alcohol inks, though she also has plenty of love for acrylics, watercolors and encaustics. In December of 2016 she decided to challenge herself to do something creative each day for 2017. She managed to paint each day that year and kept right on going into 2018 and 2019. As it stands, she’s painted more than 800 consecutive days. Kimberly sells her art at local markets and Instagram (@kimberlykalil).
