This December we hosted the first ever Holiday Hubbub: A Weekend of Merrymaking! To make the most of our pop-up shop at La Encantada mall, we truly decked the halls and invited the community to come do festive crafting with us!
Everyone got creative with ornament filling, DIY gift wrap and card-making for local nonprofit Youth On Their Own (YOTO). One of the best treats? Raffling off a brand new Cricut Maker, with proceeds going to YOTO!
Lexy Ward of PROPER, our co-host, put on greenery DIY demos throughout the day, teaching us how to turn winter greens into gorgeous garlands.
Our temporary space formerly housed a J.Crew, and we utilized the former fitting rooms to create holiday-themed “selfie booths”: from a “Candy Cane + Gumdrop Forest” (feat. Buddy the Elf), to “Ugly Sweater Party” to a “Gift Tagging” room where you leave your mark on the walls.
