Join us on August 12 for a unique workshop collaboration with The Bloom Freely Co!

Jocelyn Valencia will teach us how to journal and explore self-care practices, Jes Baker of The Militant Baker will deliver a motivational talk and we'll finish with a guided yoga practice from Jennifer Zimmerman.

You'll leave inspired, invigorated and equipped to practice daily self-care rituals.

Bloom Freely Co is a self-care focused brand that aims to cultivate spaces to #bloomfreely and is founded by writer/event curator, Jocelyn Valencia. In its debut season, this space looks like a thematic session where you get inspired by a keynote speaker, discover the benefits of self-care through journaling, and finish unfolding with guided yoga/meditation. In this session, flowers (a.k.a. you) will come to explore body positivity.

All materials are included, in addition to refreshments and light bites to enjoy! We do ask that you BYOM - bring your own yoga mat. :) 

All of our workshops are structured to include time for 1:1 interaction between our guests and our experts.

About the Guest Experts

Blogger, speaker, author, and former mental health professional - Jes Baker is on a mission to turn our society's concept of beauty on its oppressive head. She's the mastermind behind The Militant Baker blog, where she preaches the importance of body autonomy, self-love, mental health, strong coffee, and even stronger language.

Jocelyn Valencia is a writer, event curator, self-love enthusiast and lover of all beings blooming. She runs a lifestyle and insight blog called JRECOGNIZE, where she interviews creatives and influencers of all backgrounds. Jocelyn works closely with local non-profits (including the Tucson Poetry Festival and TEDxTucson) and is also the Co-Director of the annual Tucson Hip Hop Festival. Creating is her zen.

A masters level mental health therapist, a 200RYT, and the founder of All Bodies Rise Yoga - Jennifer Zimmerman's yoga is a practice of self-love and her personal revolution. She aims to explore movement and breath in an environment that honors your own body's wisdom and hopes to challenge the culture of body-shame, so we can create a future in which all bodies are free from oppression. 

Policies

Workshop seats are nonrefundable as we purchase materials on a rolling basis. If you are unable to attend, you can sell your seat independently and send us the new name for the guest list.
